My aunt used to say “Never do anything you don’t want on the front page of a magazine.” Were the words you said on stage shortly after his passing. At this point we’ve all had our “oh” moment. That was my moment. What an odd thing to say? I thought to myself. As she is an aspiring stay at home trad wife why would she care about making headline news. But now your past has been brought to life and a quiet behind the scenes life was never your type of role. Dating shows, following your basketball boyfriend around the world, the pageants, wanting to break it into fashion etc. Your need to be seen and known is as clear as day. I still find it interesting I never came across your response to Elizabeth Lane’s famous X post, I’m sure you know the one.
I like a huge population around the world was touched by Charlies assassination. It’s actually why I started this blog and later merch. To fight for our Freedom of Speech as written clear on our Constitution, something I actually have hanging on my living room wall.He was a a huge pioneer in that movement to remind us of our rights especially among Gen Z. A titan. A trailblazer. A force to be reckoned with. The reason why DJT is in office. You know it. We know it. Whether Trumps ego will ever let him admit that, he knows it too.
The following Sundays after his passing I had never seen so many young men sitting in the pews, getting emotional when his name would be brought up in service. He started a movement like no other and that movement continues nearly 8 months after his passing. As we come together to fight for the truth regarding his assassination.
You inherit his movement because you believe it’s a valid choice, a “family business” decision it seems. But where is HIS family? You know your in-laws, have them make an appearance regarding the direction of their son’s movement. We think that is way past due at this point. All those degrees under your belt with nothing to show for… A few episodes of a Bible podcast and four designs fashion line. Okay “Boss Babe!”.
You fight back passively or not at times. You claim you’re “building” but nothing has positively changed under your command. Sales declining, chapters falling apart, less views and attendance, all of it. Your team is constantly being caught in lies and losing credibility as the time goes by. This is no longer the movement Charlie built.
He was authentic and true to his word. Not a phony. He was admired and many looked up to him. You were foolish to believe the same would follow. His name, truth of his assassination and movement will go down in history books.
You however, will only ever be known as CK’s Wife.
