FIFA & The Argentina Team

Oh boy where to begin with this one… Let me start off by stating the obvious fact yes, I’m a girl and I love football. Specifically watching the World Cup, an event every four years that unites people together and it becomes a world wide celebration, unless you’re Argentinian, duh. Perhaps my favorite scenes this time around were all the celebrations among different fan bases just partying together and getting drunk. The Koreans singing and dancing with Mexicans, which truly was shocking as Koreans really don’t get down like that. Americans still just being in awe of other countries having culture is always funny to me. I always root for Mexico first and I did cry at having to say goodbye to our beloved Memo Ochoa and our chances of raising the World Cup trophy. But once we were eliminated seeing the videos of my beautiful people congratulating and celebrating with the English made my heart smile. I will always root for the trophy to stay in Latin America so naturally Colombia was my other option until they too were eliminated in an intense penalty shoot out. Although I too became a fan of Cape Verde, an unforgettable performance that we will talk about in many World Cups to come.

In the past, I always rooted for Argentina as well, was so excited for Messi and Argentina in the 2022 World Cup stage finale and very happy at the result. But after what the world witnessed in their match agains Egypt, I’m beginning to ponder if four years ago the matches were also rigged but we just weren’t paying close attention or the infractions were more subtle. But hundreds of people are now diving in deep into this World Cup. Starting with how Argentina wasn’t really facing big competition in their bracket, obviously they were surprised by the Cape Verdean fire that truly they survived that match, not won. Possible unnecessary calls against the Cape Verde players that helped Argentina move forward. After that game pathetic FIFA president Gianni Infantino, states in a viral video, while being interviewed by an Argentine journalist, “Tonight, I suffered with Argentina…but I’m neutral.” Bitch! Explain how THAT is neutral? You clearly see him retract and realize his mistake in not staying neutral.

Then the big eye opener: Argentina committed 13 fouls and received zero yellow cards while Egypt committed 11 fouls and received five yellow cards, even Egypts’ coaches were then given a red card, who the fuck does that? Egypt had their final goal ruled out which would’ve evened the score and it was a beautiful play by the way, maybe too humiliating for the Argentinians to endure? Too tired to keep playing perhaps? So they were just handed a victory… Egypt’s head coach Hossam Hassan stated in the final interview ” I will say what’s on my mind regardless of the consequence, this was clearly a rigged match and the whole world saw it.” Yes Mr. Hassan we did and the world is with you. Then the French referee being a typical French running, hiding and then deactivated his social media accounts.

In my thirty years of living I had never witnessed a cancelation quite like the one we’re witnessing now. Argentina’s national team, Messi himself, and the entire country are being dragged through the mud. People are exposing the racist nature of Argentina how they sent their black population to fight and die in Wars, then invited Europeans after WWII to “whiten up” their population. Argentinian’s, I myself having met several, love to brag and claim their European or Jewish heritage but “real” Europeans don’t claim them and want nothing to do with them, we now see why. God forbid you question or confuse their heritage for anything else that they are and you too may get a look and snarky remark of disgust. Video of Argentinian fans making racist remarks towards the black folks in the stands are going viral, streamer “I Show Speed’s” video has reached millions of views across all social media platforms.

People across the world are now burning their Messi jersey’s and my X feed is now bombarded by anti-Messi posts following the injustice of the game. “Rather, lose like Ronaldo than win like Messi” has come across my X feed every time I open the app. And those of us who may be considered “conspiracy theorists” are looking at videos by creators delving in deep into Messi’s potential influence by of course, Israel and Bibi Netanyahu. Never fails. Even football they manage to get their grimy little hands on and can’t win fairly.

As for myself, I will no longer be watching any World Cup games this Summer. However, I am looking forward to the videos that will show up on social media after the Argentina vs. Switzerland game, the ones I hope showing the crowd treating Argentina and Messi as they should be treated. Could all of this have been done for a France vs. Argentina round two World Cup face off? I’m starting to think yes, but who knows I’ll find out through X on July 19.

FIFA you are a disgrace and have become just as corrupt as our American president who called you to remove the red card for Folarin Balogun. These “elites” have now managed to ruin the only thing that brings the world together and makes us forget about our problems for just a month every four years. Haven’t looked into it yet but the Argentina national team is now under investigation for fraud and money laundering, pretty on brand I might add regarding this entire controversy.

On a funny side not this cancellation is a great lesson for liberals, you need testosterone fueled straight men to lead in order for it to be effective.
