Kardash-OFF-You go

Obviously I know of them but I was never a die hard fan like millions out there. The last full season I ever saw was when Kendall ( a young teen at the time) handed her dog over to their local dog walker and went back home. Can’t tell you which season but that was a very long time ago. Luckily Gabbana remained safe but I myself being one of six children, five girls and 1 male to be exact, crazy I know lol I just couldn’t get myself to watch it. I know sibling rivalry, drama, the weird brother at home; I was living it. Exhausting? Yes, absolutely. So why would I watch another families drama when I have my own at home. But mine came with the added financial stress, dealing with the 2006 recession at the time, and witnessing my single mother feeling very unsure. So trash tv just didn’t sit right with me.

Witnessing them transform physically right before our own eyes and then all having the audacity to lie about it. Yes, they don’t owe us anything but society gave them their millions. They weaponized their looks, influenced an entire generation, then feel victims to their own standards. Correct, life isn’t fair.

But their fans grew up, unable to keep up with these high prices, while wanting to start their own families and thousands loosing family members to Covid. Because literally Kim “people are dying”. And now enters Covid- yes we’re still talking about this bs. Kimberly’s big 40 birthday! We all remember the private island when all guests were asked to “quarantine and take health screens”. Like any of us bought it? I feel this was a big pivotal moment in their upward trajectory. This moment solidified their tone deaf inability to even slightly relate to the average person. Of course ALL the lies that have come out regarding their shows true authenticity-mainly the famous tape haven’t helped. All these failed business have shown literally no one is buying what they’re selling. Product, morals, or image wise. That kit wont give you the “perfect lips” whatever that looks like because they’re still photoshopping their images. The Kardashian/Jenner name no longer carries that weight like it did at one point. They’ve shown “no talent” can only bring you so far as beautiful woman are everywhere. They are a huge accreditation to the new influencer world we live in but Paris Hilton was the OG (sorry not sorry).

Their Empire has fallen, their grip on society is dead and I notice many are actually happy and relieved by that. Beauty standards shifting? Who is taking their place, if anyone? The future of influencing. Which leads me to a Part II on influencer culture in 2026.
